Bio
Yandry was born in the Dominican Republic, raised in New York, and now settled in Wendell, NC. She is happily married with two beautiful kids. She is a licensed real estate agent in NC and has spent the past few years working in the affordable housing industry helping individuals, couples and families with their money and home. She and her husband have paid off 40k in consumer debt, bought three homes, live well beyond their means, and can finally stop stressing about money! Now she helps others build wealth through homeownership and taking control of their money.

1. What is one fun fact about you that not that many people know?
I like to color. It relaxes me.
2. Who inspires you the most and why?
Seeing women in general that are business owners. They work full time and they’re doing it all. They have their children, they have their partner and they’re taking care of business. They inspire me. It’s not just one person, it’s when I see another female boss. I’m like, man, I want to be like her.
3. What books are you reading now or have read and loved that you’d recommend?
4. What is one actionable tip or piece of advice that you can tell our moms out there to help them on their financial independence journey?
If you’re not already, make sure you’re budgeting. I feel like that was one thing that I wasn’t doing, and if I would have been doing that one thing I could have probably avoided a lot of problems. Even if it’s on a little napkin, just sit down and write. Do some type of budget.
