Lightning Round

1. What is one fun fact about you that not that many people know?

I’m into zero waste cooking. I think it’s just because I’m into productivity and efficiency and I hate wasted time and wasted effort.

2. Who inspires you the most and why?

I really like Ramit Sethi.  I like how he focuses on living your rich life. There’s so many Instagram accounts that focus so much on scarcity mindset, especially people who talk to women. There’s much more of a focus on save here and cut back here rather than here’s how to make more money.

3. What books are you reading now or have read and loved that you’d recommend?

4. What is one actionable tip or piece of advice that you can tell our moms out there to help them on their financial independence journey?

if you are looking to get upgraded with hotels and everything, you don’t actually have to have status. There are hacks around that. I have a free hotel upgrade, email template that you can download. That’s one way you can get upgraded, or if you are paying cash for a room anyway, or paying with money instead of points. You can find a travel agent who has access to certain things like Hyatt, Marriott or Hilton status. If you book it through them, it’s going cost you the same, but then you’re gonna get a whole bunch of different perks by going through a travel agent who has access to these special programs.

If you are trying to do a points trip on Hyatt and you don’t have Hyatt status, then finding a friend who has globalist status and transfer your points to them. They can then book you as a guest of honor so that you are treated like you have globalist status, which qualifies you for free breakfast, which is great for families.
